We have one vacancy for a Playworker at After School Club
As a Playworker you would:
Have a positive a
ttitude towards children and enjoy working with them.
Work in a team to provide a secure,
caring space for children aged 4 to 11.
Set up before and pack away after Club
sessions.
Help to prepare and serve a sit-down
snack to children.
Supervise, care for, speak with and
listen to children while they play.
Requirements
Childcare qualifications and experience
are desirable but not essential, although all team members must
complete a variety of training courses including Safeguarding, Food
Hygiene, Health & Safety and Paediatric First Aid.
You must have the right to work in the
UK and be able to pass enhanced background checks.
These roles are covered by the Childcare
Act 2006 and are subject to receipt of a satisfactory enhanced DBS
disclosure for a regulated activity and reference checks.
Hours and Pay
Our team
work part-time, term-time at
Breakfast Club and After School Club. with
overtime available at holiday clubs.
The hours of work are
07:15 to 09:00 at Breakfast Club
14:45 to 18:00 at After School Club
Holiday Club shifts are 08:15 to 13:00 or 12:30 to 17:15.
The hourly rate of pay is £12.50 - £13.50 (according to
qualifications and experience) after probation, with 5.6 weeks (pro rata) paid holiday
per year.
